Who is eligible for a Covid vaccine
- All adults aged 18 and over
- All children aged 12 to 15
- People aged 16 and 17 who are in a clinical risk group or who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression
- People aged 6 months to 64 years who are in a clinical risk group, such as those with chronic respiratory disease, chronic kidney disease, chronic neurological disease, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, or weakened immune system
- Frontline health and social care workers
- Residents and staff in care homes for older adults
- People aged 16 to 64 years who are carers or staff working in care homes for older adults
In addition, the following groups are eligible for a booster jab, which is a third dose of vaccine given at least six months after the second dose:
